Beautiful Europe

Europe is the second-smallest but most beautiful continent in the World. Europe consists of beautiful mountains, gorgeous deep cracks in the Earth, (huge/very tall) waterfalls. Europe is a land of natural wonders. It shares the continental landmass with Asia (The Republic of Türkiye) and Africa(Ceuta and Melilla in Morocco’s Mediterranean Sea coast. These enclaves form the European Union’s landmass with Africa).

Europe is bordered by the Arctic Ocean to the north, the Atlantic Ocean to the west, the Mediterranean Sea to the south, and Asia to the east. Europe’s Continent comprises fifty sovereign states. Russia is the largest and most populous among these. It covers 39% of the entire continent and comprises 15% of its population.

Europe is the root of Western civilization. It traces its family line back to ancient Greece and ancient Rome. Europe’s ancient history is believed to end with the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 CE. The fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 CE is also considered the beginning of the Middle Ages. The Renaissance began in Florence and spread to the entire Europe. It also brought a renewed interest in art and science which contributed to the beginning of the modern era in Europe.
